Welcome to Dharma Jyoti Vidya Peeth.

Dharma Jyoti Vidya Peeth is a theological institution of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, dedicated to advancing the Christian mission in North India. Established to honor the legacy of Dr. Alexander Mar Thoma Valiya Metropolitan, a visionary leader who championed the Church’s mission in North India, Dharma Jyoti carries forward his passion for spreading the gospel and fostering holistic transformation. 

Located in Fazipur Khadar, a peaceful village in Faridabad district, Haryana, our campus is nestled amidst lush green fields and vibrant flora and fauna, providing a serene environment for learning and reflection. Since its inception, Dharma Jyoti has been a place where academic excellence intersects with spiritual growth, community engagement, and social responsibility. 

Our journey began in 2000 with the introduction of a Diploma in Christian Studies. By 2004, we expanded our academic offerings with a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) program. In 2009, Dharma Jyoti became affiliated with the Senate of Serampore College (University), enabling us to offer the Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) course. In 2011, we launched the Nav Jyoti Postgraduate and Research Centre (NJPGR) in collaboration with New Theological College, Dehradun. Although this program was discontinued due to practical challenges, we continued to innovate, introducing a Diploma in Clinical Pastoral Counselling and a Bachelor of Christian Studies in 2015. 

At Dharma Jyoti Vidyapeeth, we are committed to shaping the future leaders of the Church, grounded in Christian faith, theologically sound, and equipped to engage with the diverse and pluralistic realities of India. Inclusivity is at the core of our mission, and we proudly train students irrespective of gender, language, or denominational background. With a strong emphasis on community development and social transformation, we aim to nurture leaders who embody the values of God’s Kingdom, working for justice, peace, and service in both rural and urban contexts. 

As we celebrate our Silver Jubilee year, we humbly thank God Almighty for the abundant blessings bestowed upon us. We express our deep gratitude to the Diocesan Bishops over the past 25 years for their dedicated leadership, unwavering support, and concern for Dharma Jyoti. We have been privileged to work with learned and committed Board Members. Currently, His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan serves as the Patron, and Rt. Rev. Zacharias Mar Aprem Episcopa functions as the Chairman of the Governing Board. We are also indebted to the past principals and professors who have made significant and sacrificial contributions to the growth and development of this institution.
