2. Marion McFarland Award for Best Research Paper in the Area of Religion, Ecology, and Sustainability for the Paper, "Sacred Grove: Reclaiming a Subaltern Paradigm for Ecological Restoration."

Solomon is an experienced counselor, worked with various institutions of the Mar Thoma Church like Mar Thoma Hospital Guidance and Counseling Center Trivandrum and Mochana De-addiction and Counseling Center, Kottayam. He was a faculty member of the TMAM Counseling Center, Kottayam.
